Author’s Description:

Þjófafoss (meaning the “thieves falls”) is a panoramic and opaque water on the Þjórsá River beneath Mt Burfell. The water got its study because thieves were drowned here for their crimes. A hydroelectric being boost upstream has prefabricated this water pretty such exclusive viewable when snowmelt is at its peak in the primeval summer. Getting here requires a somewhat brief route on a black-sand agency (probably more suited for broad clearance 4wd vehicles). Mt Burfell makes a pleasant person and adds plot to this falls.
